The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently approved a number of industry standards, of which four valve standards will be implemented from December 1, 2018. These four standards are Valve Starting Device, Technology and Conditions, Insulation Jacket Valve, Copper Float Automatic Exhaust Valve and LNG Axial Flow Check Valve. Among them, JB/T 13460-2018 will replace the original JB/T 8864-2004 edition and the other three are new standards.
"Technical Conditions for Valve Pneumatic Devices" specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging and storage of valve pneumatic devices. This standard is applicable to working pressure of 0.4 MPa~0.7 MPa, working environment temperature of - 20 ~60 C, air source is clean, dry air or nitrogen or other compressible gas (no corrosive gas, solvent or other liquid), straight stroke pneumatic device matched by valve and angular stroke pneumatic device of rotary motion, not film type pneumatic device.
The term and definition, structure type, technical requirements, insulation jacket materials, test and inspection methods, inspection rules, marks and supply requirements of insulation jacket valves are stipulated in "Insulation jacket valves". This standard is applicable to nominal pressure PN16 ~ PN160, nominal size DN15 ~ DN600 thermal jacket gate valve, globe valve, check valve, ball valve and butterfly valve. Other specifications and types of insulation jacket valves can be used as reference.
The Copper Float Automatic Exhaust Valve stipulates the structural type, technical requirements, materials, test and inspection methods, inspection rules, marks, protection, packaging and storage of the Copper Float Automatic Exhaust Valve. This standard is applicable to exhaust valves for systems such as heat pumps with nominal pressure not greater than PN16, nominal size DN8~DN25, working temperature - 20 ~110 C, working medium water or ethylene glycol solution with concentration less than 30%.
The "LNG Axial Flow Check Valve" stipulates the structure type, technical requirements, inspection and test methods, inspection rules, marks, protection, packaging and storage of LNG Axial Flow Check Valve. This standard is applicable to Axial flow check valves with nominal pressure PN16~PN250, nominal size DN50~DN600, working medium LNG flange and welded connection. Other low temperature axial flow check valves with temperatures higher than - 162 C can also be used as reference.
